We were certainly worried that this transfer market was going to be massively inflated and it looks as though that is certainly going to be the case.

Indeed, after last summer saw all kinds of records smashed thanks to the massive spending by the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City, things are surely going to be out of proportion once again.

And, that certainly looks to be the case with the Mo Salah deal as the Mirror reports that AS Roma are sticking with their whopping £42 million asking price for the winger.

That, then, is big money for a player, though he had a strong season in Serie A last year, who is still unproven in the Premier League.

Indeed, it’s the kind of money that would suggest that this market is going to be utterly wild in terms of the cash thrown about and so we just hope the Reds get it right.
