According to Gazzetta dello Sport – via The Metro – Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Mohamed Salah from AS Roma for the summer transfer window.

Indeed, the report is of the opinion that the player’s agent has been in this country to thrash out a deal and one has been reached, meaning it is now up to the Italian side as to whether they accept a sale.

Of course, we’ve seen Salah linked with us before – a few years ago when he was at FC Basel – but it now appears as though he will be finally moving to Merseyside if his current club agrees to sanction things.

The former Chelsea man would represent the Reds’ second signing of the summer with Dominic Solanke already set to be on his way in and so it appears as though we’re looking to get things done early.

Thoughts, Reds? Let us know below!
