According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Liverpool could have received a boost in the chase for Marco Asensio with them claiming that he could be open to a move away from Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old forward certainly shone last season for Madrid with a number of superlative displays and his hat-trick for Spain at the European U21 Championships recently suggests he’s only going to get better.
For sure, then, he’d be a great talent to have in the Reds’ squad and it seems as though he would be willing to leave the Bernabeu if he cannot get more minutes than he did last season with our club being linked.
Certainly, that is always going to be hard at a club like Madrid and so if we can offer him more game-time we think the club should get on to him as soon as possible because he does look like a potential superstar.
