As quoted by Canal + – via insidefutbol – Leonardo Jardim has reiterated his determination to try and keep Kylian Mbappe at Monaco.
We’ve seen the young forward linked with plenty of top teams of late – us included – after a top season for his club over in France which saw them win the league thanks to some superb attacking football.
The plan, to sign him though, looks to have a serious obstacle in its way with Jardim saying:
“I would like him to continue at Monaco.
“He is a two-year project for us.”
Mbappe, then, might just be staying put but that might not be the worst thing in the world.
For sure, if we can’t sign him we’d rather he stayed with his current club then move to another big side where it might be less possible to sign him in the future.
