In the latest Q&A with the Liverpool Echo, James Pearce has revealed just where Liverpool stand on signing both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
It has been thought that the club would target either one or the other this summer with it apparent that Keita was the number one choice but things are actually a little different.
Indeed, according to Pearce the Reds are open to trying to sign both and so we could see a fair bit of outlay on the pair if we manage to sign them.
Even so, Keita in particular looks like he’ll be a real test to try and bring in with current club Leipzig in the Champions League and asking for a lot of money.
Oxlade-Chamberlain could be a bit easier to get, though, but we’ll just have to see exactly what happens.
