According to The Mirror, Liverpool are ready to go and try and sign Naby Keita from Red Bull Leipzig despite his hefty £70 million price tag.

The dynamic midfielder seems to be the next key man on our shopping list after Mo Salah was signed but it certainly seems as though we’re going to have to pay more than we did for the winger.

Indeed, Leipzig seem insistent on £70 million but the report is suggesting the Reds are going to try and bargain with them in a bid to prise him away.

For sure, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of price we might be able to get him to in the current market and we’re hoping that the negotiating skills of the Reds’ hierarchy deliver in this aspect.
