According to The Mirror, Liverpool have slapped an £87 million price tag on the Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho.
The tricky attacking midfielder has been superb in recent times for us and was hugely important in firing us to a top four finish towards the end of the campaign.
For sure, many felt we needed that finish to make sure the Brazilian stayed put for the upcoming campaign and it’s so far so good in the regard.
Even so, PSG have apparently made an approach – one we’ve rebuffed – and now there is a huge price tag on his head if anyone wants him.
To be honest, though, we’d likely reject even an offer like that if we were in charge as the midfielder has the potential to be our next world class star.
