According to The Mirror, Jurgen Klopp will block any move away for Daniel Sturridge if a club comes calling as it will cost too much to replace him.

The Reds have seen Sturridge at both his best in terms of playing and worst in terms of fitness and it’s the latter that has often frustrated.

It appears, though, that he won’t be leaving in the summer as, thanks to the current transfer market, it would cost the Reds too much to try and replace him with a similar striker.

For sure, then, the England international looks to be at Anfield this season coming and that is by no means a bad thing if he can stay fit.

Certainly, we like the sound of a Sturridge, Salah, Mane front three and so it’ll be interesting to see if that happens.
