According to The Times, Liverpool are going to raise the pressure on Red Bull Leipzig in a bid to try and sign Naby Keita.
The dynamic midfielder has been a prime target of the Reds, it seems, for some time and now it looks as though this week things are going to kick up a notch in the chase for him.
For sure, he is the kind of box-to-box player that we need at the club and it certainly appears as though he is the next big target for us to try and sign after Mo Salah’s arrival.
He’s sure to cost big money, though, and a £130,000 a week offer is reportedly waiting in the wings for him should he decide to pen a deal with the club.
Now, then, all we can do is wait and see if the Reds are going to get it done.
