According to The Mirror, Liverpool will look to sign Lorenzo Insigne from Napoli if Philippe Coutinho leaves for Barcelona.
The Reds midfielder has been linked with a big money move to Barca for some time and it does look as though it’s more likely than ever right now – even though the club maintain that he is not for sale.
For sure, then, a contingency plan is wise to have at the moment and it seems that the rapid Italian Insigne is the one to be just that.
Certainly, he’s become a real force in Europe with the amount of goals he scores and would make our attack even faster but, ultimately, he’s not as good as Coutinho and is a slightly different player.
For sure, then, we’re hoping still that the Brazilian remains at the club.
