According to a report in the Guardian, Liverpool are thought to be angry at the idea that we could have to face Arsenal on Christmas Eve this season.
In what would be a real rarity, it’s thought that the likes of Sky Sports and the Premier League are considering that our trip to Arsenal is shown on Christmas Eve in a decision that would surely be a massive kick in the teeth for fans.
Indeed, travelling down to London on such a day would prove problematic as travel links deplete as the day goes on whilst it would also seriously change our festive schedule.
The game is currently pencilled in to be held on the 23rd as we face the Gunners for the second time this season and we’re hoping that common sense prevails and that this doesn’t go ahead.
