According to The Guardian, Ben Woodburn is set for a new contract after the young star impressed on international duty.
The Welsh international has already caught the eye a few times in his early Reds career with performances for us but his displays for Wales in the recent World Cup Qualifiers have seemingly brought him added attention.
Indeed, he hit the winner against Austria before setting up the opener in the win over Moldova for his nation and so, naturally, people are starting to get very excited about his potential.

For sure, then, it would make sense to get him tied down to a longer, better deal than the one he is currently on and once he is 18 – next month – he is likely to be offered a 5-year deal as opposed to the 3-year deal he signed last season.
Certainly, then, he looks set for a bright future right now.
