As per the club’s website, Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been called up to represent England in the next international break.
It’s an important time for England as qualification for next summer’s World Cup can be achieved in this next round of fixtures and it’s likely Henderson will skipper the side.
Sturridge and Oxlade-Chamberlain may not be so assured of their starting spots, though, with them yet to really nail down a place in the Reds’ line-up this season.
Meanwhile, the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Dominic Solanke have been called up to the England U21 squad, as well as our on-loan winger Sheyi Ojo.
First up, though, is a big game against Newcastle this weekend as we hope to see the Reds going into the break on a high.
