As quoted by Canal+ Sport, Liverpool target Thomas Lemar has revealed that he is now focused on playing for AS Monaco this season.
The winger was linked with the Reds towards the end of the transfer window, of course, as things became rather hectic in the market.
Indeed, Arsenal were also thought to be keen but the winger wound up staying where he is and now it remains to be seen if he decides to move on in the future.
In the meantime, though, he is just concentrating on the season ahead with his current club and said in an interview:
“I’m a Monaco player, I’m very happy there. Now, I’m going to have a good season with my club, try to improve and move forward in my career. I am going back to Monaco.”
Pretty standard stuff from the young French international, then, and we’ll just have to monitor him from afar for now it seems.
