According to Marca – via Sky Sports – Barcelona are still keen on Philippe Coutinho and think that they will be able to get him as early as January this season.
The Reds held firm amongst the attention and speculation of the summer as it looked as though Barca were going to break the bank for the midfielder and Coutinho duly stayed at the club.
Now, though, it seems as though Barca have not given up, not that we’re surprised, though it would be a shock to see him go halfway through the campaign.
Indeed, though the report suggests that the Spanish side will go for him then, we don’t see the Reds entertaining that at all and so we can at least relax until the summer over this potential deal – in our eyes at least.
