Roberto Firmino has eyed trophies in his next 100 games with Liverpool after passing the milestone recently.

Signed by Brendan Rodgers, Firmino has really come alive under Jurgen Klopp and is exactly the kind of forward that the German manager loves having.

Tricky and deft with some good power, too, the Brazilian is a key part of the Reds’ fine attacking line and it looks as though he has hinted that he’s here for some time yet.

Indeed, as quoted by the club’s official website, he has spoken about the next 100 games he could play with the Reds and the hope that that includes the winning of silverware:

“I am very happy here at Liverpool, it’s a very good club, at a very high level, a big club. I enjoy playing here and I am pretty happy to have reached my 100thgame.

“I hope I can get another 100 games for Liverpool and to achieve a lot of good things; to win as many trophies as possible and achieve success.”

For the Reds to win silverware they’ll need to beat teams like title chasing Manchester United who they face at Anfield on Saturday and you can wager on the outcome against United now.

For sure, then, Firmino seems happy with things at the club right now and we’re more than happy to see him stay too.
