As per the Liverpool Echo, the Reds’ scouts were in attendance at Germany U19’s game with Belarus and they certainly saw one man catch the eye more than anyone else.

Indeed, in a routine 5-1 win for the Germans, Kai Havertz was the person to stand out more than anyone else with him hitting four goals and setting up the other.

It’s not known whether or not the Reds were there to see him in particular or whether they were there just to take in a game but they’ll surely be keeping tabs on him a bit more now.

Young German players are always going to get linked with the Reds thanks to Jurgen Klopp’s arrival and we could certainly see this one happening with the player scoring four from an attacking midfielder role – not bad at all.
