We seem to have forgotten that we could still do with a truly world class goalkeeper between the sticks and Oblak might be the ideal candidate.
Simon Mignolet has improved but isn’t world class and that is what you need to really compete at the top level. Oblak, though, is all too aware of what it takes to get to Champions League finals and challenge for trophies so we’d ask the new owners to try and get him.
