As quoted by The Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp has praised Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s recent input in what’s been a slightly difficult start for the midfielder.
The Reds finished this period of games before the international break on a high as a 4-1 win over West Ham followed up wins over Maribor and Huddersfield.
There’s been some pretty impressive performances from our players, too, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seems to have improved with him scoring against West Ham at the weekend in his first Premier League start.
Indeed, it’s a deserved return with him improving in recent weeks and Jurgen Klopp has praised the England man for his display.
He said:
“I’m happy, really happy, that he could make this decisive moment.
“He needs to get used to the intensity that we ask—it’s not that Arsenal didn’t, they play fantastic football.
“But we are really on it with these counter-pressing things and the switch immediately to make the break.”
