Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jurgen Klopp has revealed the latest on Dejan Lovren and Emre Can in terms of injuries.

The Reds have got a pretty full-squad at the moment (touch wood) with Nathaniel Clyne the only real long-term worry we’ve got at the moment.

Indeed, the likes of Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho have returned from respective issues recently and it is only the odd niggle and knock that is stopping us from having as full a squad as possible.

Even so, ahead of the game v Stoke tonight, it looks as though Can will definitely be available whilst Dejan Lovren also has a chance of playing in the centre of defence.

Klopp said – as per the club’s official site:

“Emre is back, it was not a big thing but it was big enough that he could not play the last game. He is back and it is a full squad, for sure.

“Dejan probably will be close. It is not a big thing; it’s a little bit of little bit of swelling and we have to figure out what it is exactly.”
