The Premier League saw one of its set of mid-week fixtures get played over the last couple of days with the Reds travelling to Stoke City.

After a frustrating draw with Chelsea at the weekend, we could have done with a win – especially when you consider that Spurs lost on Tuesday to Leicester City.

Things started well, as Sadio Mane chipped Lee Grant to give the Reds the lead as he converted from Dominic Solanke’s pass and that is how it would stay until half-time – 1-0.

After the break, we rode our luck at times but kept the Potters out before Mo Salah came on and added two corking goals to help seal the win.
