The Reds returned from the international break in fine style yesterday afternoon as we brushed aside Southampton 3-0.
3-0 wins at Anfield are starting to become the Reds’ specialty at the moment with wins over the likes of Huddersfield and Maribor by that score-line too in recent weeks.
Certainly, this was another controlled display as the Reds were pretty sound at the back and yet again devastating up front as Mo Salah hit two goals and Philippe Coutinho grabbed the other.
It was a big three points, too, as everyone else in the top six won except Tottenham and so it’s helped us keep pace ahead of big games against Sevilla and Chelsea.
