The January transfer window is fast approaching at the moment and the Reds are looking as though they’re going to need to buy some players.
It’s been by no means a bad season this year but the Premier League title appears to have gone and now we need to make sure the top four race is one we are winners in.
Indeed, a Champions League run would do us nicely this season, too, and so we’re hoping Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his squad.
Who comes in exactly, though, remains to be seen with our defence still the main area where we need to strengthen.
And, according to Alan Smith who was speaking to Sky Sports via the Express, he could see Jonny Evans being signed by the Reds.
Quite simply he said:
“Yes I could (see Jonny Evans signing), definitely, definitely.”
A former Premier League winner with Manchester United, Evans has done well at West Brom. Would we be able to look past his previous ties, though?
