The World Cup may be a good few months away right now but it would seem as though talk of squad selection is rife.
Indeed, in terms of the German squad, Augsburg’s Philipp Max is apparently a potential star for the current World Champions with him potentially set for a call-up to the squad.
He has played well for Augsburg this season, has the young full-back and now, according to the Daily Mail, there is some interest in his signature.
Indeed, according to the report Liverpool and Manchester United are being linked with the defender whilst the likes of Tottenham are also thought to be keen.
We, of course, signed a new left-back in the summer in Andy Robertson whilst Alberto Moreno has also been in good form so this is a potential surprise.
If he is deemed better than them, though, perhaps this one could still happen.
