Liverpool completed their Champions League group campaign last night as we hosted Spartak Moscow at Anfield under the floodlights.
We went into the game knowing that a point was enough to get into the knockouts but we also knew that a win would see us going up into the knockouts as the group winners.
We soon got going, too, as Mo Salah was fouled to let Philippe Coutinho score from the spot. That was quickly followed, too, by Roberto Firmino and another goal for Coutinho to put the Reds in the driving seat.
3-0 it was at the break against the Russian side, then, and the goals continued after the break as Sadio Mane made it four a few minutes into the second half.
Philippe Coutinho would then make it five before Mane grabbed another and Mo Salah finished things to end the game with a 7-0 scoreline.
