According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Liverpool have moved late to rival Inter Milan in the pursuit of PSG midfielder Javier Pastore.
The Argentine is a Champions League level star with plenty of quality but he has found himself on the fringes quite a bit for the French club.
He could be up for a move away, then, and it looked as though Inter were going to seal a deal for him before Deadline Day.
Now, though, the Reds are thought to be interested and might just be able to get something over the line instead.
Certainly, we’d be keen to see what Pastore could bring to the table with him possessing some fine creative ability as well as plenty of movement between the lines of midfield and attack.
