According to goal.com, Liverpool are going to miss out on Julian Brandt for the foreseeable future with him set to stay at Bayer Leverkusen.
The German attacker has been highly rated over in Germany for a while and we were linked heavily with him last season along with a number of other clubs.
However, almost rather amusingly, he’s going to stay with his current club and the likes of the Reds and Barcelona are going to miss out on signing him for now.
Interestingly enough, he’s not had that much of a good season for Leverkusen. He’s scored goals, of course, but only five this season and that suggests he’s still got some progression to do.
Staying put is for the best, then, and maybe we’ll go in for him in the coming years for him to only stay put once again.
