There could be up to three temporary exits arranged in the coming days for the Liverpool U23s as we approach Deadline Day.
There’s some bright young players coming through at the moment but they need to be getting senior minutes as well in order to fully develop as players.
Indeed, we’ve seen the likes of Sheyi Ojo go out on loan this year to Fulham and U23 boss Neil Critchley has revealed that Harry Wilson, Ovie Ejaria and Lloyd Jones could all leave the club in the coming days.
He spoke to the Liverpool Echo and said:
“You look at Harry, Ovie and we still have Lloyd with us at the moment. They would be the three who would come under the radar of other clubs.”
For sure, the three have got the potential to really make good careers for themselves with excitement particularly surrounding Wilson’s progress at the moment.
They might be off on loan soon, though, and it’ll be interesting to see how they handle it.
