It’s been revealed recently in German outlet Kicker that Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah could be available for about €25 million in the summer window.
The Reds have been linked with Tah before but nothing has really been made of it recently with the likes of Virgil van Dijk getting linked more than anyone else.
We have, now of course, signed van Dijk but there is still work to do defensively and perhaps Tah would be the ideal man to come in.
For that price, for sure, he is worth a punt with him possessing plenty of pace and physicality at the back, kind of like a young Vincent Kompany.
And, though he’s not at that level, he certainly could be given he is only in his early 20s.
Some of Europe’s finest are thought to be interested and we think the Reds should join the party.
