Liverpool have excelled this season and are looking for reinforcements this summer that can push them towards Premier League glory, ending their long wait to return to the summit of English football.

Jurgen Klopp still has work to do though to reduce the gap on runaway leaders Manchester City, especially with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea set to invest heavily this summer, and he remains on the market for top-talent.

Liverpool seem to be looking to improve their depth in the attacking third, particularly on the wings beneath Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, but they face a stern battle to secure one of their prime targets- who Salah knows well.

TeamTalk state that Leicester City lead Klopp’s side in the chase for the signature of Egyptian sensation Zizo, real name Ahmed Sayed, who the Foxes see as their ideal long-term replacement for Riyad Mahrez.

The 22-year-old’s performances with Moreirense in Portugal have not gone unnoticed, attracting interest of Porto, Benfica and Monaco, but it’s understood the youngster would prefer a move to the Premier League.

Whilst Liverpool are keen, the opportunity to earn regular first-team football with Leicester City may prove to be extremely difficult to turn down.
