One of Liverpool’s biggest tasks this summer will be to bolster their midfield ranks, especially with the impending loss of Germany international Emre Can.

The 24-year-old is set to leave Anfield on a free transfer, likely joining Juventus, and his exit will leave Jurgen Klopp with a hole to fill in his side- although it seems that he’s already identified his ideal recruit.

Liverpool have regularly been touted as suitors for Real Madrid ace Dani Ceballos, who’s been frustrated with his lack of opportunities at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, and the Reds have now been handed a significant boost.

Don BalonĀ state Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to approve Ceballos’ move to Anfield on one condition, as he wants a buy-back clause inserted into the contract of the Spain midfielder.

Ceballos has been limited to just two La Liga starts this season and Liverpool’s interest in the 21-year-old first rose in January following the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
