Liverpool are into the business end of the season and they’ll certainly be prioritising their Champions League campaign, as they go head-to-head with Roma twice over the next two weeks in the semi-finals of the competition.

The Reds are still battling to finish second behind Manchester City in the Premier League though and will be expected to overcome rock-bottom outfit West Brom this weekend, with the Baggies on the brink of relegation to the Championship.

However, West Brom surprised everything last week with a narrow 1-0 victory over Manchester United, handed City the Premier League crown, and BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson is predicting they’ll take points off Liverpool this weekend.

“Liverpool play Roma in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday but I don’t think Jurgen Klopp will make too many changes with that game in mind.”

“This is a much tougher match for the Reds than it might have been a few weeks ago, because I can imagine West Brom thinking they will have a real go at them – and they have got nothing to lose.”

Lawrenson predicts a 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns, which would leave Jurgen Klopp’s side seven points behind Manchester United.
