Liverpool might boast one of the deadliest attacks in European football but Jurgen Klopp is not finished assembling a super-squad at Anfield, as he eyes further deals this summer.

The Reds are looking to expand their depth beyond Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and 40-goal star Mohamed Salah, which has led Klopp to set his sights on a pacy attacker from one of Europe’s biggest sides.

Spanish outlet Don Balon state Liverpool are looking to snatch Lucas Vazquez from the clutches of fellow Champions League semi-finalists Real Madrid this summer and could be encouraged to make a move due to Florentino Perez’s desire to shake-up his Los Blancos side.

Vazquez’s services would cost between €60-80m and, for a player who has made just 14 starts in La Liga this season, that could be a difficult figure for the Spanish giants to turn down.

However, it’s stated that Zinedine Zidane wants to keep the 26-year-old at the Santiago Bernabeu, although his own future could depend on whether Los Blancos secure their third European crown in a row.
