Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is still seeking additional recruits to his attacking line despite boasting one of the most incredible forward ranks in Europe and his eye has been caught by one in-form performer.

German outlet Spox state Liverpool are eyeing a move for Red Bull Salzburg ace Valon Berisha, who has scored six goals in his past eight matches- helping the Austrian side reach the Europa League quarter-finals.

The Kosovo international was not able to help his side see off Lazio, with the Italian side winning to advance to the final four of the continental competition, but he scored in the first-leg and provided an assist in the return fixture.

Five of Berisha’s ten goals this season have come in the Europa League and the 25-year-old’s performances have put his name in the shop window, leading Klopp to eye a move as he seeks to add depth to his squad ahead of a push for Premier League glory next season.

Whilst Berisha would struggle to get into the side ahead of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, he’d present solid back-up and is a definite improvement on Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge, the latter of whom is on-loan at West Brom.
