Liverpool have been the talk of the town in England this week after their stunning two-legged victory over Premier League champions elect Manchester City in Europe, sealing a spot in the Champions League semi-finals.
Mohamed Salah continues to catch the eye, taking his tally for the season to 39 goals across all competitions with his second-half strike against the Citizens, and Liverpool have a stern task in retaining the services of the Egypt international.
Spanish giants Real Madrid, also amongst the final four in Europe’s elite competition, are desperate to bring the 25-year-old to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer but Liverpool, having only landed his signature from Roma last summer, are reluctant to do a deal.
However, Don Balon state that Liverpool have promised Salah they will entertain offers at the end of the season if the Reds clinch their sixth European crown- meaning that the ace would simply have to ask for a transfer.
Salah, eyeing the Premier League’s golden boot and the European golden shoe, would command a monstrous fee in the market.
