Liverpool’s attacking form has caught the eye across Europe this season and plenty of suitors have emerged for Egypt international Mohamed Salah, who has become the king of Anfield following his incredible performances this season.
Signed from Roma last summer, Salah has sensationally hit 43 goals in all competitions this season to help Liverpool reach the Champions League semi-finals, where they hold a 5-2 advantage over his former employers heading into Wednesday’s crucial second-leg.
The likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have been attributed with an interest in Salah following his sensational performances but Liverpool will fend off any interest in the 25-year-old, as they plot a new contract offer.
The Sun states Salah’s performances will see the Egypt World Cup ace rewarded with a significant pay rise, taking his weekly earnings to a massive £185k-a-week – double the amount on the deal he signed last season.
A new deal would take Salah into Liverpool’s high earners, significantly improving his current £90k-a-week wages at Anfield.
