Liverpool’s forward line has proven itself to be one of the deadliest on the European stage this season, with the Reds eyeing Champions League glory, but it seems Jurgen Klopp is still seeking additions in the final third.

The Daily Star claims that Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski has been offered to Europe’s top-sides ahead of this summer window and Liverpool are in the chase for the Poland international.

Premier League rivals Chelsea, who look set for a season without Champions League football, are also in the hunt but Klopp is eyeing a reunion with the forward he previously managed during the pair’s time at Borussia Dortmund.

29-year-old Lewandowski stands as one of the best strikers in world football, scoring 27 goals in 27 league matches this season to help Bayern storm to another Bundesliga crown, and his signature would cost around £70m.

Discussions with Chelsea are already reported to be underway but Liverpool’s potential offer could turn the head of the experienced forward.
