Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly will only be sold if a club offers £65million, according to TalkSport.
The Senegalese international is reportedly on the wish list of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal after an excellent season at the heart of the Serie A side’s defence.
Koulibaly has helped Napoli concede just 21 goals in 31 league matches this season, with the Partenopei four points off league leaders Juventus.
The 26 year old is certainly one of Europe’s best defenders at the moment, but it is debatable whether the Reds would shell out such a large sum of money on another centre back after spending £75m on Virgil van Dijk in January.
Saying that though, the Napoli centre half could be an ideal partner for the Dutchman. He generally plays on the right hand side of the centre pairing while van Dijk plays on the left.
With Joel Matip missing the rest of the season due to injury, and having struggled for form in general this season, a bid for another centre back is not out of the question, but whether we would make such a sizeable bid for another defender, it remains to be seen.
