Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is eyeing a number of potential recruits this summer as he seeks to knock Manchester City off the top of their Premier League perch and one area he’s widely linked with improving is between the posts.

Simon Mignolet is tipped to move at the end of the campaign, while Loris Karius has struggled to find consistency at Anfield and it could see him become the club’s number two next season, if Liverpool land their prime target.

Roma’s Alisson has been speaking about the links to Liverpool ahead of tonight’s Champions League semi-final second-leg against the Reds and admitted he is happy to be linked to the Premier League giants, telling Gazzetta Dello Sport:

“I don’t know what will happen [in the summer]. Obviously, the interest makes me happy. I don’t think it’s a question of needing [to move]. I know what I’m worth, not money wise, but as a player. I know what I bring to the team, but I only think about the present. What happens next, we leave for later.”
