Liverpool’s busy summer transfer window ahead could see a number of incoming and outgoing deals, with the latter potentially involving Belgium international Simon Mignolet.

The World Cup hopeful has fallen to second fiddle behind Loris Karius at Anfield this season and continued reports linking the Reds with a new goalkeeper suggest that the former Sunderland man will become surplus to requirements.

Mignolet has made no secret of his unhappiness on the situation and has revealed he’s expressed his concerns to Klopp on a number of occasions, in comments cited by Sport Witness.

“We’ve spoken about it. I’ve often told him I’m not satisfied about my current situation. The big difference compared to last year is that I’m not in goal. It doesn’t change our personal relationship, but it affects the professional one. I don’t moan about it, because I don’t think it’ll change anything.”

The 30-year-old then discussed his future directly, stating he hasn’t yet made a decision on whether to seek a transfer.

“I haven’t thought about it yet. It’s also not my job. Other people are there to deal with that. I still have three years left on my deal. I therefore cannot be the sole decider. A lot depends on the club’s will.”
