Liverpool must hijack Tottenham’s reported plan to swoop for Fulham duo Ryan Sessegnon and Steven Sessegnon as winning the battle for the two talented youngsters would be a gamechanger.

The London Evening Standard reported on Friday that the Reds’ top-six Premier League rivals were set to not only try and scoop up the £50million-rated Ryan Sessegnon this summer, but snatch his wrongly overshadowed twin brother Steven too.

This stunning potential deal could see Spurs ended up with two of the most promising talents in English football, so that can’t be allowed to happen.

Both players would be able to flourish at Anfield and could be potential title-winning players for the club in the seasons to come, and it would be unacceptable if they ended up winning the title for Spurs instead.

Ryan’s talents are well-documented as the 18-year-old has dazzled in the 51 matches he has played for Fulham this season, scoring 16 goals, while creating seven.

Ryan, who can play as a winger or a left-back if necessary, has tore the Championship up this season and looks ready to take the Premier League by storm if given the opportunity.

It’s insane what Ryan has been able to do, the only negative, is that his poor brother hasn’t been able to get the credit he deserves.

Ryan’s rapid rise to success makes Steven seem like his lagging behind, but that’s simply not the case for the defender who can play in any position across the back four.

Steven may have played the majority of his football for Fulham’s U-23s team this campaign, he has only made two senior appearances, but he’s still on course to be a Premier League worthy star in the near future.

Steven was even part of the England side that won the Under-17 World Cup last summer, even providing two assists in the tournament’s final, which is clear evidence that he would be an exciting signing.

Therefore the Reds must act swiftly to hijack Spurs’ double raid plan as it would have a gamechanging effect on future races for the Premier League title, as both Sessegnons are on course to be top-level players.
