Liverpool fans on social media heaped praised on Real Madrid midfielder Isco after watching him feature in the World Cup for Spain on Friday night.

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder put in an eye-catching performance for his nation despite Spain only drawing to a 3-3 defeat with Portugal.

Isco’s display caused Reds fans to swarm to Twitter in order to drool over the possibility of him arriving at Anfield in the near future.

One supporter tweeted that they would carry the playmaker to the club while several shared that never mind about trying to sign Lyon’s Nabil Fekir the club should spend the money on getting Isco instead.

While a lot of fans acknowledged that prying the 26-year-old away from Real Madrid would be no easy task, they couldn’t help but imagine what he will look like in a Reds jersey.

Isco featured 30 times for Madrid in La Liga during his 2017/18 campaign scoring seven goals and registering seven assists in his outings to help his side’s cause.

While the Reds have been casually linked with a move for the midfielder throughout the recent seasons it was their Premier League rivals Man City that were most recently thought to be interested in signing the midfielder.

Mundo Deportivo reported in May that Man City believed they could seal a £70.1million deal for Isco’s services in order to bring him to England for next season.
