Some Liverpool supporters reacted to a report that claimed Lazar Markovic was set to be on the move again shortly despite currently being at Melwood for pre-season training.
The Liverpool Echo reported that the 24-year-old winger will be on the move in the coming weeks as the Reds were looking to find him a club to join this summer.
This update on the plans for Markovic saw a section of Reds fans tweet about the player’s time at Anfield with one suggesting that if he would have worked hard, he could have been a part of the squad.

OPINION
Markovic has already had several loan spells away from Liverpool and has never truly been able to look comfortable when playing for the club. The 24-year-old has featured a grand total of 34 times despite being signed from Benfica in 2014. Markovic, according to the Echo, has attracted Galatasaray and Anderlecht’s interest so hopefully for his sake they try to sign him on a permanent basis as he clearly needs to settle in at a club in order to properly revive his career. The 24-year-old was on loan at Anderlecht for some of last season and scored one goal in eight appearances for them, so perhaps he’ll be keen to return as they at least handed him some playing time.
