OPINION

Liverpool have really bagged themselves a promising young talent in the shape of Bobby Duncan. He has proven himself at under-17 level with the England team, helping them lift the World Cup trophy in the process. He left City in order to pursue his dreams with Liverpool, and there is no doubt that will happen in the foreseeable future. He is not yet at the standard required for the first team, but if he continues to develop at the rate that he is, then it is without question that he will get his opportunity to show everyone what he is about. Duncan has made the right choice in leaving the Citizens as he was never going to get a look-in with the abundance of attacking talent that they already have amongst their ranks – even in a few years’ time when he has improved, he still would not get that opportunity. Liverpool fans should be excited that he has penned a deal at the club – as he is sure to be a household name in the future.
