Liverpool have had discussions with Leeds United over a loan move for their enforcer Marko Grujic, according to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay.
Reliable reporter Hay – who is the newspaper’s chief writer on Leeds – revealed via his personal Twitter account that talks have been held over a temporary exit for the 22-year-old, but the Whites “don’t seem minded” to land his services before the final deadline.
there has been some discussion about Grujic but at this stage Leeds don't seem minded to sign him. Think it's as much about Liverpool trying to find a club for him to go to (after he said no to Cardiff and Boro).

The Reds are attempting to search for a club for Grujic to move to after he turned down the chances to sign for either Cardiff City or Middlesbrough this summer.
OPINION
Grujic has not had much luck since his move to Liverpool in 2016, and has struggled to get a first team place. However, he has declined the chance to move to Cardiff, and they are now in the Premier League – so a move to Elland Road does not seem feasible at the moment. He is not going to be getting any chances with Liverpool this season and he is not doing himself any favours by staying there – he is better off moving to a Championship club like Leeds in order to get the game time he is undoubtedly after. Grujic needs to stop being so stubborn, as he is only going to remain at Liverpool if he does. Now Liverpool have made some excellent additions to their squad this summer, his opportunities there have got even slimmer. Playing regularly on loan at Leeds will help him become an even better player, which may result in some interest from the top flight.
