OPINION

This section of Liverpool fans are big fans of Woodburn as they can see what a talented player he is and the great player that he could become. It’s nice to see a fanbase give their 18-year-old a lot of respect and well-wishes for his season-long loan move. They are not wrong either Woodburn is a serious talent and he could be one of the best Welsh players since Gareth Bale emerged on the scene. He needs regular game time, which Sheffield United should be able to give him, in order to develop his skills, mindset and consistency in his game without losing that youthful exuberance. Jurgen Klopp will no doubt be keeping a very close eye on his progress in the Championship, as he could return a much better player than the one who left. If that happens, Klopp faces another difficult decision in 12 months time, but one that he would enjoy having.
