Liverpool can blitz past Southampton on Saturday to keep their 100% start to the season in tact by utilising their attacking threat to overpower Mark Hughes’ side.

In order for the Reds to flex their attacking muscles then Jurgen Klopp needs to make three changes to the side that started the Champions League encounter with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.

Despite scoring a goal in his last outing Daniel Sturridge must take up a place on the bench once again in order to be replaced by Roberto Firmino who made an exciting cameo against PSG in order to bag the winner for his side at the last moment.

After making sure his side won 3-2 on Tuesday than the Brazilian will no doubt be full of confidence about tearing apart a vulnerable Southampton defence alongside fellow potent attackers Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

Klopp must boost his attacking threat further for Saturday’s game by axing Georginio Wijnaldum in favour of playing the 5ft 6in tall (Source: ESPN) trickster Xherdan Shaqiri.

The versatile dazzler will be able to utilise his bag of tricks, frightening pace as well as lethal finishing ability in order to heap misery on a Saints side that have conceded six goals in five leagues games but looked capable of shipping more.

The third and final change Klopp should make, sees Jordan Henderson drop to the bench despite an amazing performance against PSG, so that Naby Keita can be welcomed back into the side.

The energetic midfielder has the attacking power within his skill set to have a confidence boosting display against the Saints, which could see him grab his first goals for the Reds.

Klopp should opt to keep his back-line, goalkeeper and James Milner in his starting line-up as all of those players have been in sensational form and he won’t want to disrupt their momentum just yet.

If the Reds field this attacking line-up against the Saints then not only will they achieve victory but they will showcase their attacking power by storming past a Saints’ side whose defence can easily be exposed.
