Well done Liverpool. Liverpool were EXCELLENT! Everyone played well. Give where credit is due. Wijnaldum, Milner and Henderson did their jobs extremely well tonight. Onwards and upwards. ? #LFC

Barring the minor blip for 2nd goal (still lucky how it fell for Mbappe), thought Liverpool were excellent tonight, a proper all-rounded team. Milner and Henderson both ballers #LFC

OPINION
Henderson often finds himself the villain at Anfield as some supporters are regularly left unconvinced by his talents and view him as the side’s weak link. However there should be no doubts about the 28-year-old’s ability after he excelled against PSG on Tuesday as he covered so much ground and dictated the tempo of the game for his team. Henderson may have been slightly out-shined by midfield partner James Milner against PSG due to the 32-year-old putting on another clinic but he still deserves plaudits. It’s nice to see a large number of Reds fans not just throw a lot of praise Henderson’s way but it is impressive that some have admitted they may have been wrong about him. As one supporter tweeted, Henderson was faultless against PSG and it’s hard to see why anyone wouldn’t have rated his latest performance highly. Hopefully the midfielder builds on his latest display in order to get his season kick-started after a slow start for him personally.
