A number of Liverpool fans were left drooling over Harry Wilson’s performance for Wales in their 1-0 win against the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old, currently out on loan at Derby County, scored a sublime set piece to open the scoring for Ryan Giggs’ side in their UEFA Nations League clash.
The strike follows his phenomenal free kick effort against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup last month, and the Reds fans were understandably thrilled with his latest moment of magic.

Harry Wilson's not only a good technical winger that scores a lot, he's also a Free-kick specialist. Going to be a world class player soon

OPINION
You can see why the Liverpool fans are so excited by this young man. First he scored an unbelievable free kick against United of all teams, and now he’s done it again in a competitive fixture for his country. With no Aaron Ramsey or Gareth Bale in the Wales starting eleven someone had to step up. The fact that it was a 21-year-old kid still finding his way in the game is testament to how talented the Liverpool loanee really is. As long as he’s playing well there will be calls for Wilson to return to Anfield as a first team regular next season, and on this evidence why wouldn’t he be in and around Jurgen Klopp’s first choice team next term? The sort of technical ability that he possesses is something that cannot be taught, and the Reds should ensure that they give Wilson a part to play next campaign. If they do, it’s likely they could be richly rewarded. The supporters certainly want him involved – and it’s not hard to see why.
