OPINION
These Liverpool fans seem pretty ecstatic with Brewster’s update, even though the video did not really show much. All that the video seems to confirm is that Brewster is nearing a return to training, although he is likely still a way away from doing any ball work. His double injury last season which saw him damage ligaments in his knee and ankle was a huge blow as he looked to break into the first-team, with Jurgen Klopp well aware of his talents. The club have obviously stuck by him in this time as he looks to recover, with Klopp reportedly promising him a first-team role once he is back to full fitness. Whether that will actually happen is another matter, with Brewster likely to slot back into the Under-23s first as he regains match sharpness before hopefully being introduced in to the first-team environment later on in the season by Klopp.
